Norman Collins was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. He purchased his first guitar at age 16, quickly becoming skilled and absorbing the many local influences of Blues, Country, and Soul based artists in the Greater St. Louis area.

Supplementing Norman Collins' expanding reputation as an in-demand guitarist is his creative and bountiful ability as a wonderfully gifted songwriter/Lyricist. These dual talents nourish and drive the intuitive and poetic messages featured in these songs.

Norman Collins' musical journey has included professional musical projects in some of the most famous recording studios in Nashville, Tennessee. These included the legendary RCA-Studio B.

All roads eventually led to an introduction to Recording Artist and Chess Records (Chicago, Illinois) President, Hank Ballard, who hired Collins as a staff guitarist with many accredited contributions to the artist roster during his time at Chess Records.

Norman Collins has been continuously touring from the beginning of his musical journey whether performing his own original songs or supporting other musical acts that have included Jimmy Buffett, Hank Ballard, John Hiatt, and other notable national acts.

OS COCOS (The Cocos)

Inspired by the documentary THE COCONUT WAR, The Cocos (or Os Cocos) Roots Reggae band was first formed by Marcos Odara (band leader, vocals, guitar, percussion) in the city of Rio de Janeiro Brazil advocating equality and justice throughout his music. In continuum his adventures and message rises in Oakland, CA.
Marcos has enlisted band members and family JahniahOmi Bahari (keyboards, vocals, dance), Elandis Brooks (trumpet), Dawood (saxophone), Gui (guitar), Manny San Gabriel (bass), Tico Santos (percussion), Sawblue (drums). Together we are OS COCOS.

Paddy Barrel Trio is a folk band formed by Larisa, Iñaki, and Manuel, three seasoned musicians who come together to create an intimate and distinctive folk sound. Formerly known as Adventure Playground, hailing from Oakland, CA, Plaster is a 5-piece outfit that is turning heads with their catchy hooks
and contagious energy. Formed in 2021 by old friends who were inspired to create a new,
unique blend of pop-punk that is now taking the storied East Bay music scene by storm,
Plaster is setting their sights on world domination. Born and raised in the Bay
Area, Plaster became fast friends at music summer camp in Cazadero, CA.
After graduating high school the group spent the next 10 years spread out around the country
honing their craft. While guitarists Isaac Butler-Brown and Ben Klausner and singer Noah St.
John wasted their undergraduate years pretending to attend classes at Wesleyan University
and playing in much-talked-about college party bands, and drummer John Spencer studied jazz
in New York City and infiltrated Brooklyn’s DIY punk scene, bassist Griffin Kamm held it down in
the Bay Area making a name for himself as a live video producer.
Finally together again, Plaster has been creating a reputation for their high energy and impossibly
danceable live shows. The members of AP have played a wide range of genres from jazz to
psych rock to hip hop and are combining these influences to create a sound that is leaving a
lasting impact on all the ears it can find. Plaster’s 2023 debut album “Alright Already” is available on streaming platforms.

Purple Albatross is a rocking five piece band from the East Bay that prides itself on tight arrangements of danceable classic rock and soul flavored original tunes.

Razteria is a dynamic and versatile San Francisco Bay Area-based band led by singer-songwriter Renée Asteria and guitarist-producer Dave Shul. Known for their vibrant fusion of Latin, world, rock, and R&B influences, Razteria’s music is a captivating journey through rich soundscapes and heartfelt storytelling. Red Lions consist of Burton Eubank, bass/ Jeremy Redd Lion Gray, Drums/Kevin Seisenbacher, guitar/Michael Lambsbread Bauce, keys. They released "Red Lions Dub," with Binskee in 2015 and then went on to create "Healing of the Nations" with Grammy Winner, Mykal Rose (Black Uhuru) in 2018. Members of the Red Lions have backed a myriad of artists including Lutan Fyah, Pablo Moses, Ras Michael, Mikey General, Norris Man, Tuff Lion, Earl Zero and Perfect Gidimani. They have also shared the stage with Aswad, Andrew Tosh, Alpha Blondey, Jimmy Cliff and more.

Redshift combines elements of experimental rock, psychedelia, lounge, groove, and ambient beats. Signed to Omni-Door Records, their forthcoming EP is the evolution of the band's collective voice. Composed of producer Jon Spivak (guitars, keyboards), Michael Blodgett (guitars), and Eric Satzman (drums, percussion), the band's musical journey spans previous groups such as BatuKuraKura, Smoke Chaser, Foreign Cinema, Root Beer, Sunday's Taken, Whiteout, and others.

Rev Rabia has been perfoming in the Bay Area for over 30 years. She was fortunate to have learned from and performed with the late great bluesman Robert Lowry. She honed her guitar skills as she penned folk and Americana tunes. For the past decade she has been perfoming with her husband and partner Keizo Yamazawa who was a studio musician in Japan as well as a photojournalist .

Richie Barron is a heavyweight musician who delivers the driving rhythmic pulse and dynamic original vocals to lead this talented, well seasoned group of musicians exciting audiences whenever they play. Richie began his career playing with Jr. Walker, moved on to the blues clubs of Chicago and formed a touring band out of Dallas Texas with Frank Beard, now with ZZ Top. Richie’s first CD, Secrets in the Night featured Buddy Miles and Michael Carabella on drums. Original songs from Richie’s 8 CDs of originals have been featured on House of Blues Radio with Dan Aykroyd and currently has his own radio show on www.famouishitslive.com 7 days a week at 10am, 1pm 8pm and the LowRider GodFather show Fri, Sat., Sun. 8pm; Mon. 5pm All Live Concert recordings, Thursday at 5pm is the Barron of the Blues Power Hour; Fri at 5 is the Fast Blast show. All shows feature Richie Barron CDs original songs and live concert recordings.

Ricky Rayband is a seasoned musician hailing from Richmond, California, with a passion for music that began at age 7. A talented guitarist, songwriter, and producer, Ricky has been a staple in the local Bay Area music scene since 1985, performing with the GTS band out of Richmond. His versatility also shines through in collaborations with Lady Bianca, Natural
Impulse, Latin Soul Project, and the Julius Melendez Latin Orchestra. Ricky has toured in Europe as well as Mexico. Recently completing a three show tour in Cabo San Lucas Mexico last November and opened for the Oakland China town festival last August.

Ricky has assembled an exceptional lineup of musicians from the East Bay to deliver his signature sound—an energetic blend of original Latin, funk and soul. He is supported by TW Johnson on drums, Tom Fuglestad on trumpet, Billy Tamayo on keyboards, Kevin Galloway on tenor sax, and Tim Leong on bass as well as Tommy Nunnelly on percussion and lead vocals. Together, they are debuting songs from Ricky's upcoming release, Ricky Rayband and the Shades.

With roots in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and a mastery of the East Bay Latin-funk guitar style, Ricky Ray is known for his vibrant and soulful musical expression. Ricky Rayband can perform as small as a 6 piece and as big as a 12 piece band by expanding the horn section and using a keyboard player.

Riddim Exchange is an Oakland rhythm collective of musicians trading grooves between Afrobeats, highlife, jazz, and funk in real time, on a real stage. We are an artist band that also play covers as needed to deliver a great experience to our audience. We started of as a gig band and slowly grew into a collective of talented musicians that slowly led to our pivot and strategy change from last year. Our next original releases are planned starting from May through the end of the year. Our debut album is in production now, and the live show is where you hear what that music becomes when it breathes.

We don't stay in one lane. The conversation between genres and style is our intersection and our brand identity. Originally influenced by west African rhythms but heavily influenced by unique musical arrangements from bands like Snarky puppy and Scary pockets, we make music at the intersection of genres and cultures.

Meet “Riverfront District”, the definitive Blues-Hard Rock Power Trio from the landscapes of Napa, California. Navigating strong musical currents combining gritty blues and hard rock influences, capturing the very essence of their scenic hometown.

The core of the Robert Gastelum band consists of a drummer, pianist and bassist. He likes to feature vocalists. They have performed all around the bay area and Robert has also assembled a band to perform two nights in Houston Texas a few summers ago. He continues to songwrite and improvise within his band and keeps a loose but somehow tight song structure at times, playing soul and reggae rhythms with jazz on the top.

I’m a longtime Bay Area–based musician and bandleader, and I lead the Roger Glenn Latin Jazz Ensemble (5–6 pieces). We perform all original music and have played to enthusiastic audiences throughout Northern California and beyond, with recent and upcoming appearances including the Sonoma Valley Jazz Society, Word of South Festival (Tallahassee), Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Festival, Gualala Whale & Jazz Festival, and the Portola Vineyards Festival.

My latest release, My Latin Heart, features all original compositions and has spent 18 weeks in the Top 20 of the JazzWeek national charts, receiving worldwide radio airplay and strong critical acclaim.
