Four lead vocalists. Two nationally acclaimed singer-songwriters. A veteran Marin County concert promoter who turns out to be a natural on the other side of the stage. And Claudia Russell and Bruce Kaplan are as local as you get – two of Point Richmond best-loved musicians. Together CBD delivers a set that swings from laugh-out-loud funny to genuinely moving and back again — sometimes in the same song — across a wide range of high energy American roots styles with acoustic and electric sounds. Though less than a year from its inception, CBD has already performed at the Mill Valley Arts Festival, the Ohanlon Center for the Arts, The Depot, The Arbor, Piedmont Garden, the Berger Center in Santa Rosa and Larkspur Landing. We’re an easy set up and a perfect first band for any concert at PRM. Claudia and Bruce have performed at many more venues including the Freight, the Back Door, the Monkeyhouse and Charlotte Knox's Farm.
