Agness Twin is an Alternative/Post-Punk band based out of Oakland and Martinez, CA.
Agness Twin started back in the late '90s in the San Francisco underground music scene as Agness with Elisa Ovrahim as the front woman. Unique, progressive arrangements with her custom double-neck electric 12-string/6-string guitar that adds touches of Post-Punk, mid Tempo Ambient Americana. Many influences from '90s bands like the Breeders, PJ Harvey, Mazzy Star
After relocating back to the SF Bay Area and a long break from music she was asked to join Vinsantos as the guitarist/backing vocalist for Vinsantos on the "Love and Rockets" reunion tour of 2023. Following the tour Agness Twin released "Turn to Gold". It's s hypnotic, genre defying sound was well received in the Alternative/Post-Punk music scene and is embraced by many college radio stations(Kalx,BFf.fm,Kfjc) & DJs on the West Coast. Agness Twin is working on new material that will be out in 2026
