Captain Monk is the brain child of Richmond based multi instrumentalist and songwriter Jackson Allen. What started out as a solo recording project has now turned into a tight, dynamic, and interesting live band featuring some of The Bay’s premier musicians.

In his career as a professional musician Jackson has played with or recorded for Narada Michael Walden, Whitney Houston, The Temtations, Aloe Blacc, Zara Larrson and more. He also has appeared on such shows as The Tonight Show, Ellen, and James Corden.
