Chris James & the Showdowns

Chris James is an established San Francisco Bay Area singer songwriter that offers an inviting sound of rich baritone vocals, sweeping acoustic guitar, and soulful harmonica. His original songs are often mistaken for covers, while performing cover songs he makes all his own. Along with his enduring and endearing band: The Showdowns, the group puts on an energetic, engaging live show, meshing the stylings of Southern Rock, Americana, Country, and Blues, often channeling the influences of such heroes as: Tom Petty, The Eagles, Marshal Tucker, The Rolling Stones, and Creedence.

Maurice Tani

Maurice Tani is a San Francisco born and based singer-songslinger, known for his wry/rye-to-romantic writing, agile guitar style and expressive singing. With his band, Maurice Tani & 77 El Deora has been the source of untold, but exquisite suffering on the west coast Americana scene for over twenty years. Tani now has ten albums to his credit. The latest is “All In!” (Little Village – LVF1052), a broad-spectrum tincture folk, soul, Americana and gospel featuring a wide array of guests from the Little Village roster.

Mbira dzaSoko

Mbira dzaSoko is a cultural music ensemble that honors the vibrant traditions of Zimbabwe. Established by founder Salani Wamakanganise, the group embodies a profound love for mbira music and a dedicated mission to showcase the splendor of Zimbabwe’s musical legacy globally. Step into the enchanting realm of Zimbabwean music and culture with us.

EXTRA LARGE

Extra Large is the perfect soundtrack for ‘throw your hands in the air’ fun. Voted Best Local Band in Santa Cruz County nine times running, Extra Large splices together funk gyrations, Latin spice, fun-in-the-sun reggae, and classic California rock vigor. This veteran six-piece ensemble has become a California coast staple adept at heating up dance floors, concert stages, and festivals.

Burrows and Dilbeck

Spencer Burrows and Kris Dilbeck are the powerhouse songwriting duo most known for the music of their award winning north-bay Super-funk-rock band, Frobeck. Said to have harnessed their many different soul, funk and pop rock influences into a unique sound, Burrows and Dilbeck have written seven full length albums and are celebrated musician/performers in their region.

Big Blu Soul Revue

Big Blu Soul Revue bring the soul of San Francisco to the live stage. With an extreme passion for 60’s and 70’s soul, funk, rhythm and blues, the band shares their music influenced by legends like Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, Etta James, Bill Withers and many more. The band formed in 2014, by longtime Bay Area guitarist/vocalist, Jason Movrich, and is comprised of a tight group of top-notch musicians, featuring the amazing vocal powerhouse, Lydia Walker.

Wolf Jett

Their all-original songs are an upbeat celebration, infusing folk, soul and Americana into what they call “Cosmic Mountain Music.” Co-founded by two life-long friends and musical partners, Wolf Jett combines the southern-fried vocals of Tennessee-born frontman Chris Jones with Jon Payne’s endlessly groovy drums.
